About Global Specialty Foods
Celebrating culture, flavor, and health—one product at a time.
Our Story
Global Specialty Foods (GSF) is on a mission to revolutionize the global food industry by bringing healthier world favorites into local markets. Founded in 2021 by two visionary women, Nse and Ope, the company builds on their successful culinary journey, which began with the operation of a thriving restaurant in Saskatoon since 2019.
The GSF dream was born from the need to serve the cravings of immigrants and international students who long for foods from home. As cultural flavors continue to trend globally, our mission is to satisfy the growing desire for exotic, authentic, and healthy food options.
Our first product, Kilishi, embodies everything we stand for—bold flavor, healthy ingredients, and global appeal. Originating from Nigeria and other African regions, Kilishi has long been an export delicacy cherished from West Africa to Saudi Arabia and several Asian countries.
